Eating

Posted on September 11, 2021 by tabulacandida
A: So, Christians eat bread and wine together.
B: Yes.
A: And Jews have the Passover seder and other special holiday meals.
B: Mm-hm.
A: Muslims feast in the evening after fasting during the day for Ramadan.
B: Yeah, and?
A: There's food, and togetherness, and supernatural presences... Wow...
A: Religion is really just “having a tea party with your imaginary friends” for adults, isn't it?
B: You stay over there. I'm getting away from you before you get hit by five different kinds of lightning at once.

As long as we don’t get into the whole “My imaginary friend can beat up your imaginary friend” thing, it’s all good.
