Thus, Tabula Candida: a whiteboard, which is where this all started.
I teach history and when I teach I like to doodle on the whiteboard. Sometimes I like to illustrate points in class with little stick-figure drawings. When giving an exam, I’ll draw something silly on the board to ease the tension. That’s where some of these cartoons came from. Others are just ideas that I found rattling around in my brain while reading or grading papers. Here they are for your enjoyment.
